Icelandic Recycling Fund

The Icelandic Recycling Fund was establised in 2003 based on the Act on recycling fees. Its objective is to create an economic framework for the reuse and reutilisation of waste, with the purpose of reducing the amount of waste that goes to final disposal and ensuring the suitable disposal of hazardous waste.
